In my role as Director of Production Planning at Silvergate Media, I was responsible for drafting master production schedules for the company, managing bidding processes, and tracking staff costs. I collaborated with the head of production to create budgets for new shows and reviewed bids for projects, ensuring smooth coordination with studio production teams. I also assisted and collaborated with the line producers and production managers on shows actively in production.
I was also tasked with creating various production scenarios and overviews as the company considered long-term planning and budgeting. Most of these scenarios reflected different options and configurations as productions were being considered (varying episode counts, runtimes, styles, etc.). Some of the shows I was involved with included Creature Cases, Sunny Day, SuperKitties, Peter Rabbit, Hilda, and Octonauts. Most of these scenarios would end up being only for reference, but having that range of options helped the company determine what course of action they would take over the next few years.
